Electrode Refurbishment
We can refurbish your EPM type LRS electrodes. Electrodes are often still mechanically sound and appear to be clean but chemical deposits on the electrode surface significantly decrease the system’s performance.
Symptoms of degraded electrodes include:
- Impaired flow of electricity during start-up.
- Poor TDR (Turn Down Ratio).
- Dangerously high shorting spike.
This causes a ‘hard’ start that may lead to mechanical failure of the gearbox and motor.
By cleaning the electrode surfaces from chemical deposits and rust, your electrodes can be reconditioned for less than half the price of new electrodes. The reconditioned electrodes are tested after cleaning and a test certificate issued with the calculated Turn Down Ratio.
